Hospital watcher
from₱110/hr
That’s the platform floor, not an average — caregivers set their own rates, never below it.
A trained bantay stays at the bedside — helping with meals and hygiene, calling the nurse when something changes, and keeping you informed — so your family can go home and rest. Shifts run from eight hours, enough to cover a night.

Checks with names on them
No caregiver on Kalingap wears a vague “verified” tick. Each badge names the check that ran — NBI checked, ID matched, Interviewed — so you know exactly what stands behind it.
3 documents before anyone can apply
Government ID front and back and an NC II Caregiving certificate — reviewed by our team, followed by an interview, before a caregiver can take a single job.
You pay your caregiver directly
Kalingap never holds your money and takes no cut. The rate you agree in the app is what your caregiver receives — and both of you keep the record of every visit.

Magkano ang bantay sa ospital?
Watchers set their own rates, never below the ₱110-an-hour floor. You pay your watcher directly — Kalingap holds no money and takes no cut.
What does a hospital watcher actually do?
They stay with your patient: meals, hygiene, small comforts, and calling the nurses when something needs attention. A watcher is not a nurse — medical care stays with the hospital staff, and the watcher makes sure it arrives.
How are watchers verified?
The same way as every caregiver on Kalingap: three documents — government ID front and back and an NC II Caregiving certificate — reviewed by our team, followed by an interview. Profile badges name the checks: NBI checked, ID matched, Interviewed.
Can I book a watcher for tonight?
Yes — watchers can be booked as soon as possible, later today, or scheduled ahead. Shifts run from eight hours, so one booking covers a full night at the bedside.
